This past Saturday we discussed the taboo topic of the fear of God. Such a touchy topic. The week before we got to see the greater context of this story being one big grand love story. A union between God and the nation of Israel. As the story goes on it led me to have to reckon with the mystery of the Fear of the Lord. 

We mostly hear of the Love of God. I believe that we shouldn't try to understand the fear of the Lord without first having a frim grasp on the passionate unconditional Love of God towards each of us.

Once we are solid with this understanding... the next thing is to learn what is the significance of Fearing God and why should we desire such a heart posture? I'm still learning the answer to this question.

The more I read on this journey, the more I learn.
